Software Engineer Sr

Experteer Overview In this Sr Software Engineer role you design, build, and maintain Java-based solutions, including microservices and REST APIs, for enterprise CIAM programs. You work within an Agile team to deliver secure, scalable software across the full SDLC with a focus on clean code, automated testing, and CI/CD. You collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to ensure high quality and secure outcomes. This opportunity combines hands-on development with shaping identity management at scale in a regulated environment. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and maintain Java-based components including microservices and RESTful APIs. * Analyze requirements and implement features; write clean, maintainable code. * Troubleshoot defects, optimize performance and security; refactor as needed. * Participate in code and design reviews to uphold standards and consistency. * Collaborate with engineers, QA, architects, and product to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria. * Contribute to agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of features. * Develop and execute unit and integration tests; build automated tests (e.g., JUnit, Cucumber). * Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated build/test/deploy processes; support rapid, safe releases. * Drive continuous improvement of development practices and tooling. Tasks * Proficiency in Java; experience with Spring/Spring Boot or similar frameworks is a plus. * RESTful API design and testing experience. * Experience with microservices or distributed systems; cloud-based environment desirable. * Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and build tools (Maven, Gradle). * Automated testing experience (JUnit/TestNG, Cucumber); API/UI testing with Karate or Selenium is a plus. * Version control with Git-based systems (e.g., Bitbucket). * Experience with IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclipse) and Jira; collaboration and traceability tooling. * 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
