Job description

  • We will have you work hands-on across Rust development and backend engineering.
  • We will have you build and modernise backend services and APIs.
  • We will have you contribute to distributed systems and cloud-native software development.
  • We will have you work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • We will have you help rebuild and modernise a business-critical platform as part of a long-term transformation programme.
  • We will have you use AI-assisted development tools as part of the engineering workflow.

Requirements

  • We are looking for senior backend software engineers with solid recent commercial Rust experience.
  • We value a strong wider backend engineering background in Go, C++, Java, or similar technologies.
  • We want engineers who still enjoy hands-on coding and solving difficult technical problems.
  • We are looking for experience working with backend services and APIs, distributed systems, cloud-native development, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with AI-assisted software engineering tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor is an advantage.
