Job description

Develop, maintain, and improve ecommerce websites and business applications
Build and modify web pages using CMS platforms and web technologies
Contribute to the development of internal tools and processes
Troubleshoot and debug issues across various applications and tech stacks

E-Commerce and Operational Support

Create and manage product listings across multiple sales channels
Update website content, sales and promotions, and inventory data
Assist with administrative processes and customer support

Requirements

Candidates should have excellent problem solving skills and a willingness to explore new, creative ideas. A great applicant will have high personal initiative, attention to detail, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and the willingness to work on multiple different projects at once., * Handson experience (academic or professional) developing software applications

Working knowledge of:
Web hosting and DNS
Clientserver communication protocols
Modern web application architecture (frontend, backend, APIs)
Version control with Git
Basic proficiency with Linux and command line usage
Programming experience with any/all of the following or similar:
Compiled languages (C#, Go)
JavaScript frameworks (React, Svelte, Angular)
Scripting languages (PHP, Python), * Knowledge of or interest in firearms or the firearms industry
Familiarity with business operations and process improvement strategies
Experience managing relational DBMSs such as MySQL/MariaDB
Experience implementing Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment strategies
Experience with or willingness to learn:
Modern ecommerce systems (BigCommerce, Shopify and WooCommerce)
Best practices in UI/UX, security, responsive design, and software development
Best practices in search engine optimization
