Relocation opportunity to Abu Dhabi, UAELocation:Abu Dhabi, UAE (Full Relocation Provided)Are you ready to build, scale, and optimize enterprise container platforms driving the future of AI and cloud computing?About the Role & CompanyJoin a global leader driving cutting-edge AI and cloud computing services.We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to act as the engineering powerhouse behind a customer-facing platform.The OpportunityAs a Senior Platform Engineer, you will lead the deployment, automation, optimization, and operational support of large-scale Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift platforms.You will work closely with platform architects, security, and DevOps teams to ensure maximum reliability, scalability, and performance across private and hybrid cloud environments.What You Will DoLifecycle & Cluster Operations: Lead the deployment, upgrade, configuration, and operational management of Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters across enterprise hybrid environments.Automation & IaC: Build and maintain high-efficiency automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and configuration management tools.Observability & Resiliency: Implement end-to-end monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Elasticsearch) to optimize platform capacity and performance.Platform Integration & Security: Secure and integrate container platforms with networking (CNIs, ingress, SDN), storage, CI/CD pipelines, and service mesh ecosystems.Technical Mentorship & Operations: Troubleshoot complex production issues, write technical runbooks, and mentor junior engineers on platform best practices.What We Are Looking For5+ years of hands-on experience managing and operating Kubernetes and/or OpenShift environments at scale, including 1-2 years in a senior capacity.Strong background in Linux systems administration, scripting (Bash, Python), CNIs, ingress controllers, and Software-Defined Networking (SDN).Solid experience with Terraform/Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana).Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Bonus Points ForExperience with Service Mesh (Istio), OpenStack, or running AI/ML workloads on Kubernetes/OpenShift.Relevant CKA, CKAD, Red Hat OpenShift, or major Cloud certifications.#J-*****-Ljbffr

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience managing and operating Kubernetes and/or OpenShift environments at scale, including 1-2 years in a senior capacity. Strong background in Linux systems administration, scripting (Bash, Python), CNIs, ingress controllers, and Software-Defined Networking (SDN). Solid experience with Terraform/Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana). Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
