IT Support Specialist

Experteer Overview In this role, you will own and optimize IT tooling and platforms used by engineering teams, enabling a frictionless developer experience. You’ll work across live support channels and cross-functional partners to close gaps and scale IT engineering support. Your contributions will improve tooling, automation, and reliability for the internal developer community. This is a hands-on role with high impact on engineer productivity and security at PlayStation. You’ll join a team focused on empowering engineers and delivering end-to-end IT support at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Own and support tools used by engineering teams, including user support and automation * Support engineering developer hardware following company guidelines * Identify areas for improved IT workflows * Engage with a real-time support channel for engineering teams, owning issues through resolution * Collaborate with engineering and partner IT teams to bridge gaps and improve tooling and processes * Support systems including MacOS, Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux (Ubuntu), GitHub and MDM solutions like InTune and Jamf * Keep systems secure and up-to-date per InfoSec requirements * Document procedures and contribute to shared team knowledge bases Tasks * Deep experience with MacOS, Windows, and Linux systems administration * Familiarity with modern endpoint management tools (InTune, Jamf) * Experience supporting developer tools, GitHub, and SaaS tooling * Automation/scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python a plus) * Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security fundamentals * Backup systems, audit logging, and monitoring experience Key requirements * medical * dental * vision * matching 401(k) * paid time off * wellness program
