Database Management Specialist

Experteer Overview In this role you enable precise configuration and data management for the C17 Training System program. You will safeguard the integrity and traceability of all released documentation and CD- and baseline-related records, coordinating with engineering, courseware, IT, and logistics teams. You’ll ensure compliance with contract standards and support audit preparations, while contributing to process improvements. Compensation / Benefits * Support daily configuration management and data management for the C17 TS program * Manage the total program data package ensuring accuracy, organization, and contract compliance * Maintain integrity of all C17 TS documentation and related vendor and Air Force publications * Coordinate compilation, delivery, and maintenance of C17 TS CDRLs and contractor records * Organize and maintain contractor records for the C17 TS program * Assist in baseline management for courseware, hardware, software, and visual databases * Follow configuration management procedures, version control, and documentation standards * Track changes to documents and configuration items * Coordinate with cross-functional teams to reflect current system configurations * Prepare for audits, reviews, and inspections related to configuration and data management * Identify documentation discrepancies and assist with corrective actions * Ensure formatting, organization, and long-term retrievability of documents * Contribute to continuous improvement of CM processes and tools Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience * 1-3 years in configuration management, data management, document control, or related technical support * Basic understanding of CM principles, standards, and version control * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain technical documentation * Effective cross-functional communication skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency with standard office software and document management applications Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package * flexibility for work-life balance * recognition and professional development * advancement opportunities * inclusive work environment
