Technical Application Specialist

Experteer Overview As a Technical Applications Specialist, you implement and tailor business applications, ensuring reliable operation across multiple environments. You will collaborate with ITS teams to define infrastructure needs, support testing, and maintain documentation and standards. You actively troubleshoot installations, upgrades, and middleware issues, driving timely, well-documented solutions. You contribute to a safety- and quality-focused culture while supporting a global, cross-functional IT landscape. This role offers impact through shaping deployment practices in a leading aerospace electrical systems group. Compensation / Benefits * Install and configure software components for business applications, spanning non-production and production environments * Define infrastructure requirements for server-based applications in new implementations * Participate in testing and validation of new products or improvements * Collaborate to create and evolve documentation, standards, processes, and support scoping * Install, maintain and document desktop applications in perimeter * Provide technical support and troubleshoot installation/operation issues * Manage environment changes/upgrades and update documentation per change management * Monitor health of critical components and manage scheduling * Diagnose middleware/application components and involve other teams as needed * Desktop support, including Citrix VDIs Tasks * 3-5 years of experience in business-critical application installation/configuration and Windows-based support * Knowledge of PTC Windchill or Dassault 3DX installation and setup * Experience with other PLM/ALM systems (at least one more product/vendor) * Windows Server administration experience * IIS, application servers, and web servers configuration and management * Infrastructure services (AD, DNS, DHCP, NTP, LDAP, digital certificates) * Cybersecurity maturity (CMMC/NIST 800-171) knowledge * MS SQL (2016-2022) knowledge; virtualization (VMware); Citrix application publication * Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Written and verbal English communication Key requirements * Competitive salaries * Paid holidays * Recognition programs * Comprehensive benefits * Retirement (401K) with employer match * Professional development opportunities
