Job Description Lockheed Martin España is seeking a hardware or systems engineer to lead technical oversight of Spanish content for a new radar signal processor. Your responsibilities will include: - Provide technical oversight for supplier design efforts and integration of tactical equipment into the higher-level radar signal processor - Perform requirement decomposition to develop product performance specifications, statements of work, and supplier data requirements for radar system suppliers - Participate in and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews of supplier designs - Support technical suppliers, conduct supplier visits, and validate supplier technical products - Function as an interface between program and radar system leadership, and supplier development efforts - Establish verification plans and test procedures showing traceability to system and subsystems specifications - Provide oversight of component verification and qualification test activities, developing final verification artifacts - Support subsystem integration and test, driving any Spanish supplier issues to resolution - Identify opportunities and support production activities within Spain. If you require assistance or adjustments to participate in the job application or interview process, please contact recruitment@global.lmco.com. - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree - Functional knowledge of radar systems - Experience with hardware development at the component, subsystem, or system level - Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: system analysis, requirements development, hardware design, verification/qualification, or integration and test - Past strong technical performance as an individual contributor, and ability to perform in a small team environment - Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance at the SECRET level. Desired Skills - Advanced degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent - Strong technical background with experience in hardware development, test, and integration - Experience with requirement definition, documentation and verification - Experience with design validation and/or qualification testing - Familiarity/proficiency in supply chain management and subcontracts - Experience writing test procedures, reports, and delivering test results to the customer in a professional manner - Excellent verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with members of the engineering/management staff and customer community.
