Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will help build a scalable memory system that enriches AI with persistent, context-aware knowledge. You’ll work with Applied Scientists to translate research ideas into production, shaping real-time retrieval and memory across diverse data sources. Expect to ship production code quickly on a fast-moving team, tackling cross-domain knowledge, safety, and access controls. This opportunity offers hands-on impact at scale, within Amazon’s Personalization organization, on a foundation that enables AI to reason with memory. Compensation / Benefits * Design and build highly scalable distributed systems for real-time knowledge capture, structuring, and retrieval across data sources * Implement intelligent retrieval and ranking to match intent with relevant knowledge under sub-second latency * Create APIs and data models for AI systems to access structured memory across contexts and domains * Develop and optimize pipelines for real-time event streams and batch data to durable knowledge representations * Ensure knowledge remains current and appropriate via temporal decay, relevance boundaries, and access controls * Collaborate with Applied Scientists to integrate novel knowledge extraction approaches into production infrastructure * Tackle cross-domain knowledge reconciliation to connect insights across tools, teams, and workflows * Develop feedback loops to compound value with every interaction processes Tasks * 3+ years of non-internship software development experience * 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, scaling) * Experience programming with at least one programming language * Experience with knowledge graphs, vector databases, or information retrieval systems * Familiarity with LLM integration patterns, prompt engineering, or agentic AI frameworks Key requirements * RSUs * sign-on bonuses * health insurance (medical, dental, vision) * 401(k) matching * paid time off * parental leave
