Database Administrator/Programmer - Mid

Everforth ECS is seeking a highly qualified Database Administrator/Programmer with an active Secret Clearance to work full time on our project at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL . The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Secret Security Clearance.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Salary Range: $92,000 - $104,000

Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates and installs database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management. Defines and oversees database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation. Provides technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a database environment. Advises applications development staff and users on data-based solutions to business problems, data architectures, data base management system facilities and capabilities, and the operation and tuning of databases. Ensures economic and efficient availability of data within adequate safeguards. Career level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts. Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.Bachelors Degree
