Principal Engineer, Cloud Data Infrastructure

Experteer Overview In this role you serve as the technical authority for Venmo’s data platform at massive scale, shaping architecture and guiding performance engineering across databases, data pipelines, messaging, and caching. You’ll remain hands-on while influencing multi-team strategy and mentoring the data platform community. You’ll champion AI-first practices and drive cross-functional technical conversations with executives. This is a high-impact position at PayPal, enabling reliable real-time processing for billions of transactions.
