Job description

Experteer Overview As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will guide and perform hands-on integration of fiber and IP networks, leading legacy-to-IP migrations within the NAS on BNATCS. You’ll mentor field teams, own technical tasks, and drive system validation and performance monitoring to ensure reliability for mission-critical aviation data. This role blends design, deployment, and problem solving across multi-state environments, with a clear impact on NAS modernization and safety. Compensation / Benefits * Lead the design, integration, and testing of NAS-supporting systems and translate early architecture into IP network solutions * Own the full lifecycle of network infrastructure projects, from planning to deployment, including TDM to IP migration and cutovers * Assess requirement documents and communicate design changes to hardware and software teams * Provide hands-on infrastructure support with network protocols and server hardware to resolve bottlenecks * Monitor performance via dashboards and KPIs to ensure reliability and resilience of fiber installations * Provide clear status updates and briefings to stakeholders and senior leadership Tasks * U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance * Bachelor’s degree (or 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of degree) in a technical field * 12+ years of hands-on telecommunications network engineering, circuit integration, or infrastructure planning * Deep technical command of BGP, TCP/IP, MPLS, and IPv6 in TDM-to-IP migration contexts * Hands-on experience with optical networking (fiber), telecom hardware, server deployments, testing, validation * Proven ability to model network growth and optimize capacity for large-scale upgrades * Experience with ground networks, air-to-ground systems and related technologies Key requirements *
