Senior Quality Engineering Lead

Experteer Overview In this Senior QE Lead role, you drive quality engineering across Web, Windows, Mobile, and API platforms within a SAFE Agile setup. You accelerate time-to-market by building automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying innovative testing approaches. You’ll test across multiple layers, mentor QA efforts, and leverage AI to improve test design and efficiency. This position offers hands-on development-style QA in a global financial tech environment with meaningful impact. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts to cover functional, regression, integration, and performance testing * Collaborate with developers, product managers, and analysts to clarify requirements and align test scenarios with business objectives * Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for CI/CD pipelines using modern automation tools * Perform manual testing of web and API-based applications focusing on complex scenarios and edge cases * Analyze, troubleshoot, and track defects using issue-tracking systems until resolution * Create and maintain SQL queries for data validation and verification * Provide guidance on QA processes, tools, and methodologies to stakeholders * Stay updated on industry trends and integrate relevant technologies into QA practices * Utilize AI to accelerate test design, development, and maintenance Tasks * 8+ years in software testing * Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC * Proficiency in automation tools/tech: Java, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Python * SQL proficiency for data manipulation and validation * Experience with API testing: Postman, RestAssured * Linux command-line experience * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail * Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration * Experience in test strategy for multi-application integration; proactive issue escalation * Familiarity with Agile and CI/CD; AI fluency with GenAI tools is a plus * Experience in asset management or market data domains is preferred * Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Key requirements * Health & Wellness * Flexible downtime * Continuous learning * Retirement planning * Student loan contribution * Family-friendly perks
