Experteer Overview As Engineering Manager, you lead the systems and software team for Crown’s vehicle products, guiding both people and technical work. You’ll align development with quality, cost, and schedule goals while shaping product direction and technology strategy. You collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver competitive, customer-focused solutions. You drive continuous improvement and mentor engineers to grow the organization. This role offers the chance to shape advanced vehicle systems in a fast-moving, industry-defining environment. Compensation / Benefits * Lead and manage the systems, software, electrical engineers and technical leads * Plan, resource, and supervise product development projects to meet quality, cost, and schedule goals * Provide technical guidance and contribute to engineering and design challenges * Ensure designs meet product requirements and standards through reviews and testing * Champion new product development and emerging technologies * Collaborate with customers, sales, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions * Communicate project status, priorities, and expectations to leadership and stakeholders * Develop and mentor team members through performance management and talent development * Perform other duties as assigned Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field) * 5+ years of product development experience * Model-based embedded control system design (Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow) * Project management and supervisory experience * Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills * Ability to travel up to 5% with overnight stays * Reliable transportation for local travel between sites Key requirements * Health/Dental/Vision/Prescription Drug Plan * Flexible Benefits Plan * 401K Retirement Savings Plan * Life and Disability Benefits * Paid Parental Leave * Tuition Reimbursement
