Network Engineer

Experteer Overview You will design, install, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure to support secure, high-performing communication. Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, and Facilities to deliver reliable WAN/LAN, WLAN, and VPN solutions. You will lead network changes, document configurations, and mentor junior staff, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. A strong emphasis on security, performance, and customer-focused service drives impactful outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Define and implement network infrastructure designs and installations * Install and document routers, switches, WLAN, VPNs, and security devices * Perform security audits, vulnerability assessments, and testing * Configure and validate network solutions per vendor guidelines and standards * Collaborate with network teams and facilities to prepare environments * Communicate complex solutions to non-technical stakeholders and manage projects * Maintain change management records and network diagrams (Visio) * Monitor performance and capacity, recommend improvements for growth and security * Mentor junior colleagues and participate in enterprise standards discussions Tasks * 3-5 years of relevant network experience * Experience with converged IP networks, WLAN, WAN/MAN, LAN, VPN/Firewall * Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI model * Routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP * Experience with DS3/T3, DS1/T1, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, 10 GigE * Familiarity with IEEE, TIA/EIA standards * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Ability to handle multiple complex projects and work independently * Mentor/refine skills in colleagues and stakeholders Key requirements *
