Experteer Overview In this role you will lead data science initiatives to boost profitability, efficiency, and customer experience at The Home Depot. You will guide the development of advanced analytics infrastructure and mentor a data science team, turning business opportunities into data-driven solutions. You’ll work across teams to deploy cutting-edge algorithms and contribute to Home Depot’s intellectual property. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines technical excellence with business strategy. Compensation / Benefits * Lead solution development by designing and validating algorithms on large datasets to deliver actionable business insights and recommendations * Provide project direction, mentor junior team members, and support staffing and resource distribution * Collaborate with business partners to leverage domain knowledge, foster trust, and educate stakeholders on analytics capabilities * Pursue technical exploration and develop repeatable data products and best practices to productionize models and inform future projects Tasks * 10+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics * PhD in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience (preferred) * Expertise with Python, SQL (BigQuery preferred), and data visualization (Tableau) * Mastery in predictive modeling, data mining, and statistical techniques * Experience with prescriptive modeling (optimization, NLP, computer vision, etc.) * Strong ability to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences Key requirements *
