Associate Data Scientist, Tools & Automation

Experteer Overview In this role you will support data science initiatives to boost profitability, efficiency, and customer experience. You will collaborate with Data Scientists to develop analytics-driven solutions and apply advanced methods to uncover trends and strategic insights. Depending on the team, you may explore specializations such as optimization, computer vision, recommendations, search or NLP. You will continuously learn and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, contributing to meaningful business impact at scale. Compensation / Benefits * 70% Solution Development: design and implement algorithms/models on large datasets to generate business insights; assist data science projects with rigorous analysis; consult with senior data scientists on method selection and interpretation; deepen understanding of assigned business areas to tailor solutions. * 20% Communicating Results: clearly present insights and recommendations to diverse audiences; support reporting and presentations on project progress; highlight potential impacts to drive alignment and execution. * 10% Technical Learning: stay updated on industry trends and methodologies; grow data analytics skills and identify opportunities to apply learnings Tasks * Master’s degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent work experience) * 3+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint * Experience in a modern scripting language (preferably Python) * Experience running queries against data (preferably Google BigQuery or SQL) * Experience in predictive modeling, data mining and data analysis * Experience with data visualization software (preferably Tableau) * Experience using statistical techniques to derive key insights * Basic knowledge of or exposure to prescriptive modeling (optimization, computer vision, recommendation, search or NLP) * Minimum Education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent Key requirements *
