Pro Tem Instructor (Computer Science) - Open Pool

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Oregon is inviting applications for its open instructor pool. Instructional opportunities include mainly introductory courses, covering the fundamentals of computer science, web programming, problem solving, and more., In compliance with federal law, the University of Oregon prepares an annual report on campus security and fire safety programs and services. The Computer Science Department in the College of Arts and Sciences offers BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Computer Science. The department serves approximately 600 undergraduate and 90 graduate majors, as well as offering a number of general education classes in the discipline. Computer Science instruction emphasizes a rigorous yet creative approach to computing, prioritizing synchronous, hands-on, face-to-face learning rather than fully remote or asynchronous formats., * Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Education, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• A PhD in Computer Science, Computer Science Education, or a related field.
