Experteer Overview In this role, you protect the organization’s systems and networks from cyber threats while improving security posture. You will work within a security-focused team to identify vulnerabilities, implement controls, and respond to incidents. You will translate technical risks into business impacts for decision makers and help drive resilience and continuity. This position offers hands-on incident response, governance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a global company. The opportunity centers on shaping security programs and enabling secure growth for the enterprise. Compensation / Benefits * Review and validate detected cyber security incidents and risks * Assess operational impact of security control failures * Develop and present cyber security metrics for the assigned area * Respond to security breaches and incidents and mentor less-experienced personnel * Communicate business impacts and remediation recommendations to decision makers * Develop and approve changes to cyber security procedures and systems * Apply current cyber security trends and threats to reduce risk * Contribute to enterprise resiliency, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning * Build relationships across teams to coordinate security-related communications * Stay current through training and webinars, and manage assigned projects Tasks * Bachelor degree or 4+ years of related experience * Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies * Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) as administrator or engineer * Analytical problem-solving and risk mitigation skills * Excellent verbal and written communication to non-technical stakeholders * Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks * Team-oriented with cross-functional collaboration * Experience as a cyber security engineer or system administrator is preferred * Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google) and relevant regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO) * Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation Key requirements * Health Insurance * 401(k) with company match * PTO * Holidays * Parental leave * Sick Leave
