Senior Director - Real World Data Informatics and Science

Experteer Overview As Senior Director, you will shape Novo Nordisk Inc.’s real world data, informatics, and science strategy to support local market needs. You will lead the CDSE function within the CMR umbrella, partnering with cross-functional teams to align with enterprise and global priorities. You will mentor leaders, drive adoption of data-driven approaches, and engage with external KOLs and industry bodies to advance real world evidence. This role offers impact across research, strategy, and external collaboration in a fast-evolving healthcare landscape. Compensation / Benefits * Lead the CDSE functions focused on real world data strategy, clinical informatics, and real world science for local market needs * Own and drive the RWDIS strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise, portfolio, and product strategies * Develop and mentor leaders; oversee IDPs and performance reviews to align with business priorities * Represent the functions in external scientific venues and industry groups * Foster relationships with US and global KOLs and thought leaders; promote data, analytics, and modeling best practices * Attend relevant scientific meetings and courses to stay at the forefront of the field * Oversee due diligence and executive-level oversight related to CDSE initiatives * Travel 10-20% as needed Tasks * PhD or Masters in a quantitative health-related field * 15+ years of industry, research and/or analytics experience * 5+ years in RWE/RWD, analytics or modeling * 3+ years of people management and leadership in data/analytics * Pharmaceutical research/insights experience; observational studies and statistical methodology * Solid understanding of the US healthcare system and market/patient access dynamics * Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills * Superior strategic and tactical planning experience in pharma/tech environment * Must maintain credentials in the medical/scientific community (if applicable) Key requirements * medical, dental and vision coverage * life insurance * disability insurance * 401(k) savings plan * tuition reimbursement * parential leave policy
