Junior DevOps Engineer

Apex Systems is looking for a seasoned Junior DevOps Engineer to support a migration of the organization’s Kubernetes ingress layer from NGINX Ingress Controller to Traefik. This includes assessing the current NGINX environment, designing the Traefik architecture, building migration plans and more., * Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitHub Pipelines, and Azure DevOps.

• Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot applications running on AKS, GKE, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Support and troubleshoot Informatica PowerCenter/IICS jobs, workflows, integrations, and production incidents.
• Perform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), problem management, and performance tuning across DevOps and middleware environments.

Experience Level: Junior (3-5 Years), * 3+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud operations, and production support.

• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, GitHub Pipelines, and Azure DevOps deployments.
• Strong expertise with AKS, GKE, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud networking components.
• Experience supporting Informatica PowerCenter/IICS in production environments.
• Proven ability to lead major incidents, drive RCA, and stabilize critical systems.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with cloud automation and configuration management.
