Job description

We’re seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in GitHub, Azure DevOps (ADO), CI/CD, and cloud deployment automation. This role owns the build and maintenance of scalable, secure, and reusable DevOps pipelines and engineering automation across application and cloud environments - requiring a hands-on engineer who can independently troubleshoot complex deployment issues and work effectively across development, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams. Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps/Azure Pipelines
Automate application build, testing, security scanning, packaging, release, and deployment processes
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, and/or CloudFormation
Build and manage deployment automation across Azure and/or AWS environments
Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/AKS/EKS
Establish and manage Git branching strategies, repository standards, pull-request workflows, and release processes
Integrate automated testing, code-quality checks, and DevSecOps/security controls into CI/CD pipelines
Implement secure secrets, credentials, and certificate management within automated deployment processes
Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for applications and deployment pipelines
Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python
Troubleshoot complex build, deployment, environment, and production issues

Requirements

8+ years senior-level experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud engineering
8+ years strong hands-on expertise with GitHub/GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
8+ years experience designing and implementing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines
8+ years experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms and automated cloud deployments
Hands-on experience with Terraform/Bicep/CloudFormation or similar IaC technologies
3-5 years experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably AKS and/or EKS
Strong scripting/automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python
Good understanding of DevSecOps, IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and cloud security
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation skills
Ability to operate independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent real-world experience
