Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and framework development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and implementing automated testing solutions, API testing, CI/CD, and modern QA practices. The candidate will work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality and reliable software delivery., * Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks.

Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Analyze business and technical requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies.
Perform UI, API, database, and integration testing.
Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot software defects.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers and other QA engineers to identify and resolve quality issues.
Perform root-cause analysis for test failures and production defects.
Improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes.
Participate in code reviews and ensure automation standards and best practices are followed.
Prepare test reports, metrics, and quality dashboards for stakeholders.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing.
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright.
Strong programming experience in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience developing automation frameworks using Page Object Model, BDD, or Data-Driven frameworks.
Strong experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
Experience with TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
Strong SQL skills and experience with database testing.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with Git and source code management.
Experience testing applications deployed on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and SDLC/STLC methodologies.
Experience with defect and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or TestRail.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or other performance testing tools.
Knowledge of mobile automation using Appium.
Experience testing microservices and distributed applications.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing and DevOps practices.
Experience implementing automation strategies from scratch.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills., Bachelor’’s or Master’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
