Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead triage and debugging for Android, QNX, and related automotive platforms, driving automation to accelerate issue resolution. You will work across multiple domains to improve software quality and reliability for production vehicle software. You will build AI-assisted tools and workflows that speed validation, testing, and debugging at scale, collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on shaping robust triage processes and automation at the systems level. Compensation / Benefits * Analyze, triage, and reproduce issues across Android, QNX, Hypervisor, BSP, Middleware, Drivers, and Applications * Investigate logs, traces, crash dumps, boot failures, memory leaks, performance issues, and communication failures * Identify fault domains and route issues to appropriate teams * Drive root cause analysis and track closure * Debug cross-domain interactions among Android, QNX, Hypervisor, and shared resources * Support integration, validation, and release activities across vehicle programs * Develop automation tools using Python, Shell, for log collection, analysis, and testing * Build dashboards and workflows to improve triage efficiency and defect tracking * Maintain troubleshooting guides and known issue databases * Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to enhance debugging and automation * Develop AI agents and reusable workflows to automate triage activities * Validate AI-generated code and outputs for correctness and safety * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and software quality initiatives * Provide technical leadership for triage, debugging, and automation across automotive HPC platforms * Mentor engineers and lead debugging best practices * Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve complex system-level issues Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field * Minimum 8 years in Embedded Software Development, System Integration, Validation, or Software Debugging * Experience with Android and QNX embedded platforms * Strong understanding of automotive software architecture (BSPs, middleware, device drivers, platform software) * Experience debugging across multiple software domains * Strong knowledge of OS fundamentals, processes, threads, memory management, and system debugging * Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Shell scripting * Strong Linux development experience * Experience analyzing logs, crash dumps, memory leaks, watchdogs, boot failures, performance bottlenecks * Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and software release processes * Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP, TCP/IP, UDP, and diagnostics * Experience with automotive SoCs and HPC platforms * Strong root cause analysis, problem-solving, and collaboration skills * Strong communication and technical leadership skills Key requirements *
