ERP Business Analyst III

Experteer Overview In this role you bridge business and IT to support, enhance, and evolve core ERP and manufacturing systems on IBM i (AS/400) with a focus on BPCS. You’ll work across Finance, Manufacturing, and Operations to translate requirements into technical solutions, provide hands-on RPGLE development, and ensure system stability and continuous improvement. You’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders to shape integrations and reporting, delivering tangible impact on production and financial processes. This is a hands-on, collaborative role in a mission-critical enterprise environment. Compensation / Benefits * Gather and validate requirements across Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, Logistics, and IT * Translate business needs into functional/technical specs * Prioritize enhancements and resolve issues with stakeholders * Develop, enhance, and maintain RPGLE applications on IBM i (AS/400) * Provide Level 1-3 support for BPCS, AS/400, and related apps * Support Shop Floor Control, MPS, and MRP * Assist with SAP migration and system integration initiatives * Produce and optimize reports using SQL/SSRS/SSIS * Maintain integrations between BPCS and enterprise apps via interfaces (e.g., TIBCO) * Document processes and support ALDON change management * Contribute to SOX compliance activities and audits * Mentor junior analysts and developers * Participate in project planning, testing, and post-production support * Support compliance, audit, and business continuity initiatives Tasks * Strong experience with IBM i / AS/400 environments * Hands-on RPGLE development * Knowledge of BPCS or ERP systems in finance/manufacturing * Experience supporting SFC, MPS, and MRP * SQL/SQL Server proficiency * VBA for reporting/automation * ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript * MS Excel and MS Access * Experience with system integrations and interfaces * Familiarity with ALDON or similar tools * 3-5+ years in AS/400, BPCS, and manufacturing ERP environment * Strong analytical and communication skills Key requirements *
