Job description

Assess existing SAN and storage environments and document current-state configurations
Configure, deploy, and support enterprise storage arrays and Fibre Channel switching infrastructure
Manage storage provisioning, LUN presentation, host mappings, zoning, and fabric connectivity
Validate end-to-end storage connectivity and overall platform health after changes or deployments
Monitor storage and fabric environments, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing operational needs
Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and as-built records
Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure and deployment teams to execute project work

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise SAN environments
Experience with enterprise storage platforms such as Dell PowerMax, HPE 3PAR, or similar technologies
Hands-on experience with Fibre Channel switching, including zoning, fabric management, and ISL configuration
Knowledge of LUN masking, host groups, and multipathing technologies such as MPIO or PowerPath
Ability to work on-site as needed within the Kansas City metropolitan area

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with NetApp administration, including ONTAP
Relevant storage or Fibre Channel certifications
Experience in large-scale, multi-site data center environments
Familiarity with storage management tools and monitoring platforms
Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
