Job description

Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead data and knowledge initiatives within Lilly’s SDnA organization, designing scalable systems to collect, organize, and share technical know-how across functions and regions. You’ll transform fragmented documentation into a centralized, searchable knowledge repository with related processes and tools. Your work will boost efficiency, consistency, and risk management by making critical information readily accessible. This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership role with a strong focus on advancing knowledge management at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Own the multi-year KM strategy for SDnA, designing AI-navigable, queryable systems on enterprise platforms * Build or optimize a centralized knowledge system for statistical, data management, and analytics resources * Develop domain ontology and process maps reflecting SDnA workflows and regulatory constraints * Set standards for content lifecycle, tagging, versioning, and automated quality checks * Lead change management, training programs, and user guides to drive adoption * Collaborate with cross-functional partners (regulatory, IT, quality, programming) to align the system with business needs * Monitor usage metrics and KPIs to continually improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability * Drive continuous improvement and long-term planning for knowledge management across the organization Tasks * Proven experience building scalable knowledge systems and driving organizational adoption * Experience in KM, information management, or data analytics operations with KM focus * Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree is a plus * Authorized to work in the United States full-time (no sponsorship) * Pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience (about 5 years), with ~3 years in KM role * Domain knowledge of clinical data lifecycle and related workflows * Hands-on proficiency with SharePoint and document management systems; scripting skills (Python) for data analysis * Familiarity with knowledge graphs, semantic retrieval, or AI-assisted approaches is a plus * Understanding of information governance, content management standards, and access controls * Strong leadership, communication, and change-management capabilities * Experience leading KM projects in global, regulated environments * Prosci/Six Sigma/Lean-style change management training is a plus * Cross-functional collaboration across regions and time zones * Strategic vision for scalable KM solutions and measurable impact Key requirements * company bonus * 401(k) plan * pension * medical/dental/vision benefits * flexible benefits accounts * life insurance and disability benefits
