Configuration Engineer

responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Engineering (EBOM) and Unit BOMs, executing the seamless conversion and push of Manufacturing BOMs (MBOMs) to global ERP systems.
• Partner closely with Inquiry to Order (ITO) and Project Engineering teams to coordinate and execute smooth project scope transitions within PLM tools.
• Verify accurate logical feature generation against Variant Configuration Central (VCC) logic, proactively collaborating with commercial teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Lead Preliminary BOM (PBOM) reviews and validate standardized parts to maximize direct release percentages for Configure to Order (CtO) initiatives.
• Conduct regular BOM integrity audits and assist global manufacturing and sourcing partners in resolving timing and system disconnects.
