Experteer Overview In this role you will develop and deploy high-performance test solutions for Digital, Analog, and RF assemblies within Teradyne’s Defense and Aerospace field applications team. You will collaborate with customers and engineers to design hardware/software/test cell integrations, improve test coverage, and demonstrate tester capabilities. You’ll work on complex problems that enable reliable defense and aerospace electronics and help drive customer success in a mission-driven environment. Compensation / Benefits * Develop, debug, and deploy test solutions for Digital, Analog and RF assemblies * Develop test program software, often independently * Review interface Test Adapter schematics and layout for solutions * Analyze problems and propose improvements on Teradyne ATE platform * Collaborate with test engineering customers to refine test processes * Recommend enhancements to improve test coverage and quality * Release test solutions to production considering environmental and automation needs * Gather customer requirements for hardware/software/test cell integration and PCB/HW inputs * Develop new testing techniques and designs * Demonstrate tester capability for customer evaluations and provide training and technical materials * Build strong customer relationships at a technical level to uncover needs * Maintain awareness of ATE industry trends and competitive positioning Tasks * Bachelor or higher in electrical/computer engineering or related fields OR equivalent experience * Minimum 2 years of test engineering or similar experience * Experience in analog, digital, mixed-signal and RF testing and test development * Prior programming experience on Teradyne or ATE platforms * Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, C++ programming and Windows * Ability to work independently and in a team * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent presentation and communication skills in English * Willingness to travel (>50%) * Must meet ITAR/compliance requirements for export-restricted roles Key requirements * medical, dental, vision * Flexible Spending Accounts * retirement savings plan * life and disability insurance * paid vacation and holidays * tuition assistance
