Job description

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies., The Microservices Developer will write Java Spring Boot microservice applications using AWS native technologies, build REST services with Spring, and support CI/CD and Agile software delivery.

Requirements

Writing Java Spring Boot microservice applications using AWS native technologies.
Building REST services with Spring to filter and select complex data objects.
Implementing CI/CD using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
Agile development and delivery of software.
Communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Position Desired Skills:

Java, Spring boot or python
Microservice architectures
CI/CD tools: AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitOps
Database: NoSQL / MongoDB query and schema design
OAuth/OIDC implementation experience
Test frameworks and automation including Playwright and Cucumber

AD2 Qualifications:

6 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Ability to support an on-call rotation.

Benefits & conditions

Salary Range: $184k-$226k (Annually)

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
