Staff Software Engineer - Merchandising (Oracle RMS / Stibo STEP

We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer (Merchandising) to lead the engineering, integration, and automation of enterprise merchandising platforms. This is a highly technical, hands-on role requiring deep expertise in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS/RMFCS), Stibo STEP PIM, and retail merchandising and inventory management systems., * Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Retail Merchandising (RMS/RMFCS) and Stibo STEP PIM solutions.

• Build and maintain integrations between PIM, ERP, merchandising, inventory, and eCommerce platforms.
• Develop JavaScript business rules, workflows, and automation within Stibo STEP.
• Design enterprise product data models, taxonomy, and data governance solutions.
• Develop REST/SOAP services and integration pipelines.
• Write and optimize Oracle PL/SQL queries and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Contribute to AI-driven automation initiatives using LLMs, RAG, or Agentic AI frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and building enterprise integrations, developing scalable solutions, and working across merchandising, inventory, product information management, and supply chain systems. Experience with LLMs, Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, or RAG is a strong plus., * 10+ years of experience in the Retail domain.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle RMS/RMFCS.
• 8+ years of Stibo STEP PIM configuration and development.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, XML, XSD, JSON, and Linux.
• Strong Oracle Database and PL/SQL expertise.
• Experience with REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Experience integrating merchandising, inventory, ERP, and PIM systems.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Jira, and Git.
• Experience with cloud or SaaS enterprise applications.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
