Trading Application Support Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will provide Level 1+ support for Fixed Income, Commodities and FX trading platforms within Millennium’s trading ecosystem. You will troubleshoot trading-related issues, monitor intra-day and end-of-day processes, and train users across front-end trading, risk, and settlement workflows. You’ll also support Millennium’s proprietary algo trading platform, coordinate with PM teams, and ensure smooth production operations. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role requiring strong ownership and cross-functional collaboration to maintain trading performance and reliability. Compensation / Benefits * Provide Level 1+ support for Fixed Income, Commodities and FX trading system users. * Develop understanding of trading, trade processing, and risk reporting systems. * Support Front-end trading, Trade Capture, Risk and PnL, Trade Repository and Prime Brokerage clearing. * Troubleshoot trade-related issues and train users on platforms. * Support Millennium’s proprietary algo trading platform: testing, gathering requirements, and implementing algos with PM teams. * Monitor intra-day and end-of-day jobs, platform performance, and enhance trade processing systems. Tasks * 3-5 years of front office trading support experience * Knowledge of fixed income products (Rates, Credit, Futures, Derivatives), Commodities and FX * Strong teamwork, prioritization under pressure, and sense of urgency * Excellent written and verbal communication * Detail-oriented with ownership of work * Quick thinker and problem solver * Experience with 3rd party trading systems (e.g., Bloomberg FIT/ALLQ/FXGO/CDX/IRS, Brokertec, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, Trading Technologies TT, WebICE, CME Direct) * Experience with Bloomberg and/or Reuters is a plus * Interest in financial markets is a plus * Unix shell experience is a plus Key requirements *
