Senior Workday Technical Developer/Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will own the full lifecycle of Workday integrations across HCM and Finance, ensuring reliable, secure data exchanges. You will work closely with HR, Finance, IT, vendors, and fellow developers to design, implement, and operate scalable integration solutions. You will balance production support with proactive optimization and architectural improvements. This position offers hands-on technical work and meaningful collaboration within a technology-driven Workday team. Compensation / Benefits * Provide production support for Workday integrations affecting HR and Finance processes * Monitor integration health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis * Handle incidents and service requests within SLAs; maintain runbooks and documentation * Participate in on-call support as needed * Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain new Workday integrations * Develop scalable, secure integration solutions using Workday-native tools and external APIs * Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into technical designs * Assess impact and propose integration architecture improvements * Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data privacy requirements * Develop and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, Core Connectors, Workday APIs, REST/SOAP, RaaS, and Orchestrate * Support inbound/outbound and middleware-based integration architectures * Collaborate with internal/external partners to resolve data exchange issues * Adhere to SDLC, participate in design reviews, testing, deployment planning, and post-production validation * Support release management, change control, and provide technical specs and deployment docs * Utilize Jira, ServiceNow, and Salesforce to manage work and requests Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, information systems, or equivalent experience * Minimum 5 years of hands-on Workday integration development * Experience with Workday HCM and Workday Financials integrations * Expertise with: Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, Workday APIs (REST/SOAP), RaaS, Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields, Workday Orchestrate * Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production integration issues * Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, web services, and API integrations * Experience supporting Workday semi-annual release cycles * Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, Salesforce or similar tools * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills Key requirements * medical, dental, and basic life and disability insurance * 401k retirement plan * paid time off * annual bonus eligibility * minimum of 7 holidays per year
