Job description
Experteer Overview As an Embedded Engineer Software, you will design, develop, integrate and test cryptographic software for end-user customers. You will architect and administer embedded real-time systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. You will analyze system capabilities to resolve program-level issues and ensure robust software across multi-disciplinary programs. This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge defense technology and practical, reliable software delivery. You will contribute to impactful projects that push the boundaries of possible in national security, with a strong emphasis on quality, security and operational readiness. Compensation / Benefits * design, develop, integrate and test software for cryptographic embedded applications * architect and administer embedded and real-time systems * collaborate with Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Hardware, and I&T in an Agile setting * analyze system capabilities to resolve problems related to program intent, data acquisition, and controls Tasks * Bachelor in Computer Engineering or STEM with 2 years of related experience, or Master’s with 0 years * Proficient in C/C++ * Proficient in Object Oriented programming * Familiar with the full software lifecycle from requirements to testing * Experience integrating low-level firmware and software in real-time multi-threaded embedded apps * Experience developing and debugging embedded real-time systems * Familiar with Static Analysis and Unit Testing * Experience using Jira/Bitbucket/Git and Agile software development * Interim DoD Secret clearance to start * Ability to work full-time onsite at Rancho Carmel Key requirements * health insurance * life and disability insurance * savings plan * Company paid holidays * paid time off (PTO)
