Job description

Experteer Overview In this role, you lead and elevate the end-to-end customer experience for Infrastructure Platforms, guiding a team of designers to shape backend infrastructure product experiences. You set the vision for experience strategy, research, and service design across multiple domains, ensuring consistent delivery and measurable improvements to customer outcomes. You will partner with product management and engineering to align experiences across UI, workflows, APIs, and documentation. This is a chance to influence cross-functional roadmaps and scale customer-centered practices across complex enterprise tooling. Compensation / Benefits * Lead and develop a design team, establishing high-quality outputs and cohesive design practices across domains * Define and execute an experience strategy aligned with adoption, self-service enablement, friction reduction, and operational efficiency * Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand infrastructure personas and their workflows * Assess market patterns and competitor experiences to inform strategy and differentiation * Create and operationalize service blueprints, journey maps, and workflow maps across end-to-end experiences * Translate insights into problem statements, opportunity sizing, and prioritized recommendations with product leadership * Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define experience requirements, success metrics, and acceptance criteria * Promote customer-centered practices across product domains with scalable rituals and governance * Ensure inclusive, accessible, and usable experiences for complex enterprise tooling across platforms Tasks * 7+ years in experience design, service design, UX research/strategy, or related fields in complex enterprise environments * People management experience leading designers (hiring, coaching, performance management, team culture) * Proven ability to drive CX strategy using service design methods (blueprints, journey maps, workflow analysis) * Strong foundational research skills (study design, facilitation, synthesis, storytelling) with measurable outcomes * High technical fluency in infrastructure platforms and enterprise tech concepts (networking, cloud, compute/storage/database, APIs, observability) * Ability to partner with technical PMs and engineers and influence roadmaps with evidence and clarity * Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication and alignment across product areas Key requirements * comprehensive health care coverage * retirement savings plan * tuition reimbursement * mental health support * on-site health and wellness centers * backup childcare
