Experteer Overview As a QA / Automation Engineer you will validate Cisco’s wireless platforms by crafting test plans, building automation, and analyzing system behavior. You’ll work in real lab environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. Expect hands-on testing at scale and exposure to AI-assisted development tools that boost testing efficiency. This role offers impact through improving reliability and performance of next-generation wireless products. Compensation / Benefits * Write and execute test plans and test cases for wireless features and systems * Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or similar languages * Analyze test results to identify issues, inconsistencies, or performance gaps * Reproduce customer and system issues in controlled lab environments * Assist in setting up and maintaining testbeds and lab environments (routers, switches, access points) * Collaborate with development and platform teams to debug and resolve issues * Learn and apply AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) to improve testing efficiency and automation Tasks * Bachelor in Computer Science/Computer Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience or Master with 0 years * Strong programming fundamentals, preferably Python * Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing basics) * Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills * Curiosity, detail-orientation, and troubleshooting mindset * Interest in AI-enabled engineering practices and using AI tools to improve productivity Key requirements * medical, dental and vision insurance * 401(k) plan with Cisco matching * paid parental leave * paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick leave) * flexible vacation program (Exempt) * bonus potential for non-sales roles
