Software Development Engineer, Ads Console Frameworks

Experteer Overview In this role you will steer the architectural evolution of the Ads Console Frameworks to support AI-driven, agentic workflows. You’ll shape platform contracts and API patterns used by dozens of partner teams, aligning technical direction with advertiser workflows and business impact. You’ll work across frontend framework architecture, platform services, AI orchestration, and data pipelines to enable scalable, reliable experiences. This is a hands-on leadership position that emphasizes product-thinking, architectural judgment, and solid engineering fundamentals to unlock leverage at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Lead technical architecture and hands-on delivery across the full AI application stack (UI, services, agent infrastructure, orchestration, evaluation) for the Ads Agent experience and integration framework used by partner teams * Infuse product thinking into architecture by deeply understanding advertiser workflows and how users actually interact with the product * Set architectural direction for a horizontal platform team by defining integration patterns and API contracts and maintaining quality as adoption grows * Establish best practices for building AI applications (evaluation methodologies, quality guardrails, prompt engineering, orchestration patterns) and for AI-native development (AI tools, agentic coding) * Drive operational excellence and mentor engineers across the team * Lead design reviews and drive cross-team alignment on major framework capabilities * Implement interfaces and extension points for partner ecosystems * Refactor and simplify complex services to reduce technical debt and improve maintainability Tasks * 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience * 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience * 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience * 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl * 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience * Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field Key requirements * health insurance (medical, dental, vision) * RSUs and sign-on payments * 401(k) matching * paid time off * parential leave * EAP and mental health support
