Java Technical Lead

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise web applications, bridging technical execution with business strategy. You’ll steer cross-functional teams delivering Java and Angular solutions while upholding Agile practices and architectural consistency. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to drive transparent governance and ensure timely, quality outcomes that align with Capgemini’s transformation mission. This is a hands-on leadership position at scale in a collaborative, globally enabled environment. Compensation / Benefits * Own end-to-end delivery of complex full-stack products from inception to deployment * Manage timelines, scope, resources, budgets, and risk mitigation * Enforce Agile practices and lead Scrum ceremonies * Ensure code quality and architectural alignment across Java and Angular ecosystems * Lead and mentor a team of developers, QA, and tech leads * Manage senior stakeholders with transparent status reports and governance * Drive performance evaluations, growth plans, and hiring for the delivery unit Tasks * 10 years in software engineering * 4+ years in delivery/project management * Core Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices * Relational DBs (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and MongoDB * RESTful APIs, event-driven design, Kafka/RabbitMQ * Angular (v12+), TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx * HTML5, CSS3/SASS, responsive design * CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions * Cloud familiarity: AWS/Azure; Docker, Kubernetes * Bachelor or Master in CS/Engineering or related * PMP/CSM/PMI-ACP desirable Key requirements * Paid time off (vacation) 12-25 days * Company holidays * Personal days * Medical/dental/vision coverage * Retirement plans (e.g., 401(k)/RRSP) * Life and disability insurance
