Junior NOC Engineer - Permanent

The network team is responsible for the setup, security, and operations of the network used for a wide range of services in industrial and office contexts. The team operates across locations in Belgium, France, UK, Germany, and Switzerland. They are involved in projects such as setting up connectivity in new data centres, securing and connecting to the cloud, modernizing WAN networks, and supporting functional evolutions requested by application teams. Missions

• Operate in a team supporting company activities running 24/7
• Work in both IT and OT environments, ensuring diligence in preparing and executing changes
• Participate in the deployment and maintenance of OT and IT systems
• Handle day-to-day team operations
• Analyse and resolve incidents and technical problems
• Support colleagues in Belgium and other parts of Europe

• Operational firewall knowledge (Palo Alto and Checkpoint)
• Basic understanding of routing and switching (CCNA level)
• Familiarity with Cisco CLI
• Experience with Python
• Use of backend tools for monitoring, NAC, central syslog, authentication
• OT experience considered a plus
• Background in computer science preferred, 1. Master one of the national languages Dutch or French and be fluent in English 2. Be a team player but also able to work independently 3. Possess your own car 4. Be able to travel if required to Belgian locations 5. Operational firewall knowledge (Palo Alto and Checkpoint) 6. Basic understanding of routing and switching (CCNA level) 7.
