Experteer Overview As Software Engineer (Java 21+) you will design, build and operate Java-based microservices powering Rabobank’s digital banking experiences. You contribute to secure, scalable APIs and improve observability and production reliability in cross-functional teams. You’ll shape backend solutions, challenge assumptions, and drive continuous improvement. The role offers a chance to impact millions of customers while working within Team GSM on banking platforms that matter. Pay / Benefits * Design, develop and maintain Java 21+ microservices and scalable REST APIs for digital banking services * Improve reliability, observability and operational excellence through monitoring, logging, alerting and production support * Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners and stakeholders to challenge assumptions and shape better solutions Tasks * 5+ years of demonstrable experience with Java 21+ and Spring Boot * Solid understanding of distributed microservice architectures and API design * Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting and observability tooling * Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment practices * Fluent in English and able to collaborate effectively with developers, architects, product owners and stakeholders Key requirements * Thirteenth month * 8% holiday allowance * 10% Employee Benefit Budget * EUR 1,400 development budget per year * Hybrid working * Pension with flexible employee contribution
