Cloud Security Specialist

Experteer Overview In this role you act as a trusted security advisor to AWS workload teams, shaping secure, well-governed cloud environments. You’ll balance hands-on architecture reviews, threat modeling, and governance work to support secure AI and cloud workloads. You’ll collaborate with engineering and risk teams to drive secure design, mitigating risks from new SaaS platforms and AI services. This opportunity offers influence over cloud security practices and a direct impact on how security is built from the ground up. Pay / Benefits * Perform security architecture reviews for AWS services and SaaS platforms * Lead threat modeling exercises to identify risks and propose mitigations * Provide cloud security design guidance for new workloads and SaaS platforms * Organize and lead cloud security knowledge-sharing meetups with AWS teams * Partner with engineering to remediate vulnerabilities and gaps * Support CSPM initiatives and security governance to improve visibility and compliance Tasks * Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud security architecture * Experience securing AI systems such as Bedrock and SageMaker * Experience with container, API, and CI/CD security * Python scripting experience in AWS environments (Lambda) * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills * Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Key requirements *
