DevOps Engineer

We’re hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner The Role - Play a pivotal role in building and leading operations and development teams - Deliver high-availability AWS services including EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, and Bedrock - Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) in 2025 - Collaborate with technology leaders to enhance day-to-day operations - Ensure improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of the ESC - Participate in “on-call” rotations to resolve incidents occurring out-of-hours What You’ll Need - Fluency in written and spoken English - National of an EU member state and residing in the EU - Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering with hardware, software, networking, operating systems - Experience scripting processes in a language such as Bash, Python, or Ruby - Solid understanding of Linux and networking, with troubleshooting skills - Ability to lead the creation and improvement of standard operational procedures (SOPs) What’s On Offer - Opportunity to influence the evolution of AWS services and technology - Relocation support for successful applicants within the European Union - Challenging and impactful opportunity in building a best-in-class development engineering and operations team Apply via Haystack today
