Website Platform Developer

The Website Platform Developer will take ownership of the company’s primary website platform and related digital experiences. This role will be responsible for supporting the technical health, performance, functionality, and ongoing evolution of the organization’s web presence., * Take ownership of the ongoing development, maintenance, and technical health of the company website and related web properties.

• Get up-to-speed on the existing WordPress architecture, hosting environment, plugins, integrations, and custom functionality.
• Implement new pages, templates, features, and content updates while maintaining site consistency and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues efficiently.
• Maintain website security, plugin updates, backups, uptime monitoring, and general site stability.
• Optimize site speed, responsiveness, SEO best practices, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to execute campaigns, landing pages, product launches, and site enhancements.
• Support integrations with third-party platforms, forms, analytics tools, CRMs, and marketing systems.
• Manage development, staging, and production workflows to support reliable testing and deployment practices.
• Audit and help rationalize plugins, custom code, and third-party dependencies to support long-term maintainability and stability.
• Maintain technical documentation and development standards to improve continuity and reduce operational risk.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to the site’s structure, workflows, performance, and scalability.
• Coordinate with external vendors or development partners as needed.

Do you have experience in WordPress?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, The ideal candidate is comfortable stepping into an existing WordPress environment, learning the current site infrastructure and codebase, and confidently managing ongoing enhancements, updates, troubleshooting, and future site initiatives. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and collaborative communication with marketing, creative, and external partners., * BS Degree in Computer Science, SW Engineering, IT or other related field required.

• 1-3 years of experience.
• Professional experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites
• Strong proficiency with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive front-end development.
• Experience working with custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Familiarity with page builders and flexible content management systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and working within existing codebases and infrastructures.
• Understanding of hosting environments, DNS, SSL, caching, CDN configuration, and website performance optimization.
• Experience managing staging/development environments and structured deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with SEO technical best practices and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and ADA/WCAG considerations.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git., * Experience with medical device, healthcare, or regulated-industry websites.
• Experience with API integrations and third-party marketing tools.
• Understanding of UX/UI best practices.
