- Develop and execute automated and manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Review technical documentation and quality specifications to ensure testing coverage and compliance.
- Create detailed testing documentation supporting application validation efforts.
- Execute automation scripts and support development of automated testing workflows.
- Review back-end trace logs to identify application defects, errors, and exceptions.
- Support QA processes across geospatial and non-geospatial applications.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to support issue resolution and software quality efforts.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to testing best practices.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Test Planning (Quality assurance practices)?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, Clearance: DoD Top Secret Clearance (Active or held within the last two years), * U.S. Citizen and Active U.S. Passport.
- DoD Top Secret Clearance (Active or held within the last two years)
- Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience, Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or 7+ years of equivalent experience.
- Experience developing and executing software test plans and test cases.
- Experience with automated testing tools and scripting.
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
The following are preferred of the Mid-Level Test Engineer:
- Experience supporting geospatial or enterprise operational systems.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and QA best practices.
- Experience supporting federal or secure environments.
- Exposure to backend testing or scripting concepts.
