Experteer Overview As Platform Developer, you will design, build, test, and maintain cloud-native software that powers secure, scalable digital platforms across markets. You’ll work in cross-functional squads to deliver end-to-end digital experiences and customer journeys, applying modern engineering practices in an agile environment. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure high-quality, resilient solutions. This role offers hands-on work at Vodafone’s next-generation Digital & IT platform with global impact and growth opportunities. Pay / Benefits * Build backend services, APIs, data flows, and integration layers using cloud-native, event-driven patterns * Collaborate with Technical Leads, Product Owners, and Delivery Leads to refine requirements and deliver incremental value * Write clean, secure, and well-tested code for microservices and integration components * Implement solutions aligned to architecture guidelines and platform standards * Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies * Contribute to test automation and quality-first engineering practices (unit/integration tests) * Support CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational readiness * Diagnose incidents, resolve defects, and improve platform services * Maintain documentation and reusable engineering components * Support performance, scalability, and resilience improvements across services * Collaborate with external partners to ensure delivery quality and alignment with standards Tasks * Experience with Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Python, or Spring Boot * Knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems * Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes * Automation testing, CI/CD, and code quality tooling * Strong data structures, integration patterns, and secure coding practices * Agile mindset with cross-functional teamwork * Degree-level education in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience Key requirements * hands-on cloud-native technology exposure * global multi-market collaboration * continuous learning and development * ownership and autonomy * innovative, product-centric culture
