Lead Full Stack Developer

Experteer Overview As Platform Lead Developer, you will design, build and maintain cloud-native backend and frontend components that power Vodafone’s next-generation Digital & IT Platform. You work in cross-functional squads to deliver scalable, secure and high-quality capabilities across markets, shaping APIs, integrations and user interfaces that enable new customer journeys. You apply modern engineering practices to ensure performance, reliability and rapid deployments, while mentoring others and driving continuous improvement. Pay / Benefits * Design and maintain cloud-native backend and frontend components (APIs, microservices, integrations, digital interfaces) * Deliver end-to-end capabilities with focus on performance, security and maintainability * Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Technical Leads and Architects to refine requirements * Apply modern engineering practices (AI-SDLC, event-driven design, microservices, containerisation, infrastructure-as-code) * Support CI/CD, automated testing, observability and operational readiness for reliable deployments * Participate in code reviews, design sessions, estimation and agile ceremonies * Troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to continuous improvement of services * Provide guidance to junior developers or partner teams to foster high-performance culture Tasks * 7+ years hands-on software engineering experience * Strong expertise in cloud-native application development * Proficiency in Java (highly preferred), Node.js and React; Python beneficial * Knowledge of microservices, API design, Kafka, serverless patterns, Docker and Kubernetes * Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure or GCP) * Experience in agile delivery, CI/CD, trunk-based development, continuous improvement * Clear communication and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders * Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience * Risk identification, simplification opportunities and quality improvement mindset Key requirements * large-scale, multi-market platform experience * exposure to modern cloud-native technologies * collaborative engineering culture * learning-focused environment
