Job description

We are seeking a Linux Administrator to design, implement, and maintain our Linux-based server infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who can work independently to drive automation and reliability improvements across our environment. \n

Activities \n \n

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL/CentOS, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, Debian, or similar) in on-premises environments\n
Deploy and administer virtualisation platforms including XCP-ng, Proxmox, KVM, and VMware\n
Manage and maintain physical hardware in data center environments\n
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and uptime of critical services\n
Design and implement automation using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Bash/Python scripting\n
Administer and maintain infrastructure services (Wildfly, Free-Radius, DNS, DHCP, Kea, Squid, NFS, LDAP etc.)\n
Implement and enforce security best practices, including hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation\n
Configured and managed SAN storage systems (HPE MSA, Ceph), including volume provisioning, performance tuning, and capacity planning to support production workloads.\n
Manage backup and disaster recovery processes\n
Set up and maintain monitoring/logging systems (CheckMK, Zabbix, GrayLog, Rsyslog, andGrafana)\n
Support containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker and Kubernetes)\n
Implementing Load Balancing mechanics for critical services\n
Provided Level 2 and Level 3 technical support\n
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.\n

Requirements

3+ years of experience in administering Linux systems in production environments\n
Strong expertise in major Linux distribution families\n
Familiarity with data center, server, virtualization, storage, and backup systems\n
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall, VPN)\n
Experience with configuration management tools and version control systems (Git)\n
