Junior BI Analyst

We are looking for a Junior BI Analyst to support our research into market trends and investment structures. Our partner is a major Munich-based organization currently navigating complex partnership decisions that require rigorous data support. In this fully remote position, you will work closely with our partners to turn raw market information into the clear, actionable intelligence our clients expect. We focus on providing commercial judgment rather than generic models, and your role will be to ensure our advice is rooted in solid evidence of how counterparties and competitors are behaving right now. What you will do

• Gather and organize data from diverse sources to support scenario work for investment and entry decisions.
• Build and maintain dashboards that track market indicators and competitor activities within the territory.
• Support the preparation of client positions by distilling complex datasets into simple, clear visualizations.
• Collaborate with senior advisors to map out the networks and commercial interests of various sovereign entities.
• Clean and validate data to ensure the accuracy of our research reports and internal databases.
• Monitor public filings and news sources to provide early updates on shifts in the commercial environment.
• Assist in drafting the data-driven sections of briefing notes used by partners during client negotiations.

• Basic familiarity with data visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools used for business reporting.
• The ability to write clearly and concisely, focusing on presenting facts without unnecessary jargon or fluff.
• A disciplined approach to research, showing high attention to detail when managing large volumes of information.
• Introductory knowledge of SQL or other data querying methods gained through university projects or personal study.
• A logical mindset that allows you to spot contradictions or gaps in data provided by third parties.
• The maturity to handle confidential information related to sensitive commercial and state-level partnerships.
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment, maintaining regular communication with a distributed team.
