Job description
We are seeking energetic and dedicated PM (afternoon/evening) or NOC (night) shift Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our compassionate healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your commitment to delivering exceptional support will help ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our diverse patient population. This paid position offers a dynamic work environment where your skills make a meaningful difference every day., * Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, adhering to medical documentation standards.
- Support patient care by administering medications under supervision and following strict aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
- Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols and ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans and document progress in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Assist with specialized care needs including dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, behavioral health, hospice, or trauma-related cases.
- Operate medical equipment safely and effectively while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Requirements
Do you have a valid CNA license?, Do you have experience in Medical terminology?, * Current certification as a CNA with valid state licensure.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation.
- Prior experience in diverse healthcare settings including hospital medicine, long-term care, assisted living, or home & community care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for delivering safe patient care.
- Ability to work flexible PM or NOC shifts with stamina to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams caring for individuals with disabilities or complex health needs such as dementia or infectious diseases.
- Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Phlebotomy skills, or medication administration are advantageous. Join us in making a positive impact through compassionate caregiving!
