Job description

Experteer Overview As an Associate Software Engineer in the Content Distribution team of Candy Crush Soda Saga, you help build and refine systems that deliver fresh, high-quality content to millions. This early-career role pairs you with experienced engineers to grow your craft in C++ and live game development. You’ll contribute to content pipelines, AI-enabled tooling, and level-design support within a mature codebase. You’ll work cross-functionally to improve delivery, debugging, and tooling, while gaining mentorship and impact. Pay / Benefits * Build, test, maintain and optimise features and tooling for content delivery pipelines, automated level optimisation using live player data, and AI-driven level generation tooling. * Own defined tasks and communicate progress, plans and blockers clearly. * Write high-quality, well-structured C++ code following team standards and practices. * Develop primarily in C++ while broadening knowledge of the wider tech stack and systems behind features. * Use AI development tools judiciously, avoiding shipping AI-generated code without explainability and surfacing uncertainties. * Collaborate with engineers, level designers, data scientists, product managers and QA to investigate and resolve live issues. * Seek mentorship and share learnings with the team to foster collective growth. Tasks * Experience building software in a team setting. * Proficiency in C++ or a comparable language and motivation to advance C++ skills. * Delivered pieces of work to a solid standard with guidance from senior colleagues. Key requirements * Hybrid working model
